Bad times for labels are running and to produce a cd isn't a little thing...

Good evening.
Just to say that the dvd of "BAARIA" is now available in several different editions: the economic, the normal, the deluxe, the super deluxe, the golden, the super golden...both in italian and in sicilian slang.
Besides the italian edition, I have also received the sicilian slang one: I have not understood one word.
But it's not important because, in this film, the images count more than the dialogues and so, also if someone doesn't understand anything, anyhow he will be able to appreciate the film.

Good news !
I certainly will take a DVD from this film one time.
But it didn't yet be released in France, so I am waiting for, in order to see it first in theater...
I hope that such an important film will find international distribution.

I don't know in which one language the Dvd will be released abroad.
Anyhow, if will be available a deluxe triple Dvd edition as in Italy, get it. In the "Extra" section, among many other surprises, there are also the "cut scenes". I have seen them and I don't understand why some of them have been cut.

Is now also available the complete DvD serie of LA PIOVRA. 10 Dvd by RAITRADE in a deluxe edition.

I guess that the 3 DVD set is the same as the 2 DVD's one, with 1 DVD for Sicilian dialect. So the 2 DVD version would be enough in order to have all the extras, isn't it ?
The cut scenes contain music ?

Yes, it is as you say. The 2 Dvd version is enough with all the extras.

Do you know the Tornatore's project EM composed for and finally cancelled ? Leningrado ?
Good too that Baaria will not be the very last Tornatore for Morricone... I heard of a project about the Birminian woman's life, Nobel prize award.

BAARIA will be in the French cinema theaters in the middle June, at last ! I will of course watch it.

You mean a film about Aun San Suu Kyi. It's a possibility.
I made a mistake. Tornatore said "...different subjects from the ones..." not "...different subject from the one...". This means that Tornatore had announced Morricone more than one project never released, not just one. Yes, one of them is Leningrad.
