I maybe must complete what I wrote about the new CD to be understood fairly.
It is well-worthy because it features 7 tracks not published before. And the Phoenix LP is rare now, not everybody here have it, I guess. And some tracks or parts even are not present in the movie, so it gives justice to the Morricone’s music and to Pontecorvo.
A very good music, if you like the Mafia’ style, of course. It is often dark, but with action, tempos, rhythms, timbres, and excellent orchestrations of special atmospheres. We waited for this expanded for longtime…
