ENNIO MORRICONE IN MOSCOW

After the magnificient success of last year, Maestro Ennio Morricone will return to Moscow next November 13th and 14th  to enchant once again with his most famous film music with the original orchestrations conducting the local Symphonic Orchestra and Polyphonic Choir on the stage of the Crocus City Hall.

TEN 2002-2012: TEN YEARS OF CONCERTS

It all began on September 28th 2002 with Maestro Morricone's first concert at the Arena of Verona,  which was the largest place until then, where Maestro had conducted his music.

Since then, other cities and venues have been able to enjoy the music of ENNIO MORRICONE. More than 200 concerts performed around the world: from the first historic concert at the General Assembly Hall of the UN in New York, to the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Great Hall of the People on Tiananmen Square in Beijing, La Scala Theatre in Milan, St. Mark’s Square in Venice, to Moscow, St Petersburg, Kiev, Mexico, Chile, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Hungary, Morocco and Australia, among others.

It all started that evening in 2002. Today, after ten years, it is finally possible to complete a serial concerts project in Italy: TEN – 2002/2012 ten years of concerts and naturally also in this occasion everything will start from the Arena of Verona, with a very special and exclusive preview in Udine at I° Maggio Square on September 8th at 21.00.

 

These concerts will be presented with two extraordinary orchestras:

The Roma Sinfonietta, which is worldwide renowned for its great performances of Maestro's music and the extraordinary Symphonic Orchestra of the RAI. Also the formations of the choirs will be different: the Choir of Verona and the Choir Nuovo Coro Lirico Sinfonico Romano and the Claudio Casini Choir of the Tor Vergata University of Rome.

The schedule of the performances is as follows:

8th September - Udine, I° Maggio Sq / Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Choir of Verona

15th  September – Verona, Arena / Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Choir of Verona

3rd  November – Florence, Mandelaforum / Roma Sinfonietta  Orchestra and the Choir of Verona

8th November – Turin, Palaolimpico / Symphonic Orchestra of RAI and the Choir of Verona

10th November – Milan, Mediolanum Forum / Symphonic Orchestra of RAI and Choir of Verona

16th November – Rome, Palalottomatica /Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Choir Nuovo Coro Lirico Sinfonico Romano and the Claudio Casini Choir of the Tor Vergata University of Rome.

24th November – Bologna, Unipol Arena /Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Choir of Verona

1st December – Padua, Palafabris /Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and the Choir of Verona

ENNIO MORRICONE IN BELGIUM

Ennio Morricone  will finally arrive in Belgium to conduct his most beautiful film music with its original orchestrations. Maestro will perform in the Antwerp Sportpaleis with a local symphony orchestra and choir on Saturday 22 December at 08.30 pm.
